Engage with Friedman School Talent
We invite employers to engage with Friedman School of Nutrition students and alumni in a variety of ways. We organize and offer career programming, including workshops, site visits, career fairs, and coffee chats. To learn more about how to engage with our students, alumni, and school, please contact Lori Rodriguez, Associate Director of Career Services. Learn more about the Friedman School, our academic programs, and the various career directions that our students follow.
At this time, we are conducting employer engagement activities both virtually and in person based on type of event and employer preference.
Career Workshops
The Friedman School partners with employers to offer engaging programming in a specific content area such as virtual interviewing, developing your personal brand, highlighting an industry or sector, etc.
Employer Site Visits
The Friedman School welcomes opportunities to visit employers with students to give them an inside view of what it’s like to work at a particular organization.
Career Fairs
The Friedman School hosts several career fairs each academic year. Please let us know if you’d like to participate and watch this space for updates.
Employer Coffee Chats
The Friedman School collaborates with employers to schedule one-on-one or small group conversations to discuss your organization and opportunities available as well as share insights into the application process.
Please contact Lori Rodriguez, Associate Director of Career Services, to discuss your recruitment goals and programming ideas for the best way to engage with Friedman School students. We’d love to help!
Note to employers who use Handshake to post events: If your organization already uses the Handshake platform to post events and you’d like to target Tufts Friedman School students in your outreach, please mention the Friedman School by name in your event listing. This will allow us to better find and highlight your event on our website. You can also email BlockCareerCenter@tufts.edu with a link to your event and we’ll post it on our website.
Employer policies: Employers should review our Employer policies and guidelines as they will guide your partnership and interactions with the Career Center staff and students at the Friedman School.
