I am a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Maine and my graduate degree/dietetic internship at the Friedman School/Tufts Medical Center. I started my career as a dietitian and practice manager at Boston Food Allergy Center, where I developed skills in outpatient counseling and management. From there, I returned to Tufts Medical Center as an inpatient dietitian covering oncology/hematology, neurology, and trauma patients. I then transitioned back to outpatient nutrition, covering a wide variety of nutrition-related conditions, with a focus in oncology. After spending several years in Boston, I decided to make the move back to Maine and recently took a position as an outpatient dietitian at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Portland. Additionally, I continue to teach classes on general healthy eating at the YCMA of Greater Boston alongside a personal trainer. In my spare time, I enjoy running, biking, competing in triathlons, and hiking with my greyhound Shalane.
