Jennifer Felsted-Knight

I am a neuroscientist and professional coach who helps women feeling stuck to redesign their career strategies. I integrate my deep knowledge of neuroscience, psychology, and health to help clients shape the habits and mindsets that lead to the success they crave. I spent 17 years working in research. For over a decade, my research was at the intersection of neuroscience and nutrition focused on understanding the neurophysiology of eating and body weight regulation. I then transitioned to digital health innovation where I led a data science team in evaluating the quality and safety of artificial intelligence-based solutions in healthcare. I have co-authored 15 articles in leading scientific journals, including The Journal of Neuroscience and Neuron, and presented my work at national and international conferences. I hold a PhD in Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition with a concentration in Neuroscience from Tufts University. I also hold a BS in Psychology, as well as Physiology and Neurobiology, from the University of Connecticut. I currently serve on the Tufts University Friedman School Alumni Association’s Executive Council and Mentoring Committee. I completed my professional coach training at the Co-Active Training Institute, considered the “gold standard” of coach training. I am currently the CEO & Founder at Redwood Creek Coaching where I am on a mission to change the way women in STEM experience work. My passion is helping women who feel burnt out restore excitement for their work and create impactful careers they love. My balanced focus on self-reflection, evidence-based wellness strategies, and bold action steps reignites the passion and focus needed to reach the next level.
