
I am a health communication and public health professional with ten years of experience working in obesity prevention research, nutrition, and health communication projects. As a project manager in FHI 360’s Social Marketing and Communication (SMC) department, I support the National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR), a partnership formed to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and application of childhood obesity research. In addition to serving as a technical expert on the project, I oversee the administrative and financial systems of the grant, develops and manages timelines and budgets, ensures quality management and monitoring of projects. I also manage workgroups and activities related to research, communication, and evaluation; develop and maintain a range of communication materials; and work with researchers across sectors including government agencies, private foundations, and nonprofits. I have presented NCCOR’s work at over 10 scientific meetings, widely enhancing the Collaborative’s visibility and reach.
