Responsibilities
As an Account Executive at Wellable, you’ll drive business growth by educating prospective clients about our wellness solutions and guiding them to the right offerings based on their needs. You’ll manage the sales process from demo to close, ensuring a seamless client experience while driving adoption of Wellable solutions. Key responsibilities include:
Sales execution
- Master all Wellable solutions to understand prospective client needs and clearly communicate our unique value proposition with enthusiasm and confidence.
- Deliver engaging live demonstrations of Wellable technologies, effectively showcasing value to key stakeholders during complex sales cycles.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of opportunities, client use cases, timelines, and next steps in HubSpot for seamless sales pipeline management.
- Coordinate the creation of high-quality proposals and responses to RFPs that align with client expectations and needs.
- Execute sales campaigns, including outreach to employers, insurance brokers, and health plans, as needed.
Client relationship management & strategic growth
- Educate and guide prospects by sharing tailored content, addressing questions, and proactively supporting them throughout the sales process.
- Balance short-term wins with a strategic long-term approach to contribute to sustained revenue growth and client retention.
- Identify and participate in in-person and virtual networking opportunities with clients, prospects, and the insurance broker community to expand reach and visibility.
- Stay informed about workplace wellness and benefits trends to position Wellable as a thought leader and trusted resource.
Sales enablement & process optimization
- Collaborate on developing compelling sales and marketing materials to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to Wellable’s sales process to support scalability and efficiency as the company grows.
- Regularly review sales metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed individual and team targets.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or a related field
- Ability to commute to the San Diego or Boston office twice a week
- Passion for health, wellness, and technology

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of opportunities, prioritize effectively, and perform under pressure
- Strong organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and follow-through
- Proven success in client-facing roles, demonstrating the ability to engage, influence, and deliver results
- Experience working with mid-market or enterprise-level organizations, with a track record of driving successful outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and credibility
- Ability to work cross-functionally within an organization and with external clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms is a plus
