About Lucky Day
Lucky Day is a Boston-based ice cream company creating organic, dairy-free frozen desserts made with simple, minimally processed ingredients like maple syrup, hemp hearts, and coconut. Lucky Day makes inclusive, nutrient-rich treats in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, packaged in plastic-free containers. We distribute locally and sell at farmers markets across Greater Boston.
The Role
Weāre looking for aĀ Kitchen Manager + CookĀ to lead our day-to-day kitchen operations. Youāll make sure our frozen desserts are produced efficiently, safely, and consistently, while upholding the highest quality standards. Youāll manage all things kitchen: production schedules, supervising staff, inventory management, ingredient tracking, cleaning protocols, and everything in between.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing kitchen operations and production schedules
- Producing ice cream and baked goods and cold brew
- Managing ingredient and packaging inventory
- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness protocols
- Ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all production
You are:
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable managing people and processes
- Excited about food, community, and building something new
- Able to work in a hands-on environment
- Able to get to Westwood, MA
This role is 20 hours/week.
