About the Practice

I provide personalized, evidence-based nutrition counseling built on genuine connection. Many clients come after feeling dismissed or overwhelmed by past experiences, and my goal is to help them feel supported and empowered—not judged or handed cookie-cutter plans. I work with clients seeking support for diet recovery and disordered eating, general wellness, hormonal health, digestive concerns, family feeding, and chronic conditions such as thyroid and autoimmune disease.

About the Role

I’m looking for a Massachusetts-licensed Registered Dietitian to see clients part-time (5–10 hours/week). This is a remote role with flexible scheduling and room to grow. You’ll work independently but with ongoing support, regular check-ins, and opportunities for collaboration.  If you’re an RD who asks great questions, cares deeply, and isn’t afraid to call out outdated health advice, this is a good fit.

Pay: $45-55/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition counseling

  • Review labs and integrate findings into care plans

  • Monitor progress and adjust nutrition recommendations as needed

  • Document in the practice’s EHR within 48 hours (per AND standards)

  • Manage scheduling and coordinate care as appropriate

  • Participate in supervision calls and stay current with evolving nutrition science

Qualifications

  • Licensed in Massachusetts (required)

  • RD/RDN credential (required)

  • 2+ years outpatient counseling experience (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition (Master’s preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of MNT and lab interpretation

  • GI expertise preferred but not required

  • Skilled in motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques

  • Comfortable working independently in a virtual setting

This Role May Be a Fit If You…

  • Care deeply about helping clients cut through the noise of conflicting health advice

  • Take a holistic, compassionate approach to nutrition

  • Enjoy building rapport and creating a safe space for clients

  • Stay curious and committed to professional growth

Benefits

  • Flexible schedule you control

  • Regular clinical supervision and support

  • Opportunity to grow with the practice

How to Apply

Please send your resume and a cover letter explaining why this role is a good fit for you. Applications without cover letters will not be considered. Email: janelovrutfunk@gmail.com
