Student in Dietetics / Research RD / Food Service RD

Medically Tailored Meal (MTM) Clinical Trial

 We are seeking a highly motivated student intern, part-time Research Registered Dietitian (RD), or food service RD to help build and operationalize the meal preparation and delivery pipeline for a medically tailored meal clinical trial at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

 Key Responsibilities

 Help with recipe development and standardization for study meals

•Assist with ingredient tracking and nutrient/calorie calculation as needed

•Support meal prep, portioning, packaging, labeling, storage, and shipping

•Contribute to SOP development, quality control, and intervention fidelity

•Track participant dietary restrictions, food allergies, and meal needs

 Qualifications

 Required: 

Student in DPD programs, part-time RD, or trainee/professional in nutrition, dietetics, food service, public health, or a related field

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with hands-on operational work

Able to work independently while coordinating closely with a multidisciplinary research team

Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Interest in clinical nutrition, GI health, cancer survivorship, Food-is-Medicine, and/or feeding trials; helping build scalable infrastructure for future meal-based clinical trials

Preferred: 

Experience with menu planning, food service operations, dietary assessment, or nutrition intervention studies is a plus

 Part-time (hours flexible based on study needs)
