We’re looking for a warm, dependable PCA/Companion to support our 16-year-old son in Newton, MA. He’s a bright, funny, outgoing sophomore in high school who lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and uses a power wheelchair.
He loves Chelsea FC, the Celtics, Pokemon, Lego, gaming, animals, traveling, and great food. We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting to know him, has a good sense of humor, and wants to become an important part of his life – not just someone to help with daily care.
This role is ideal for students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, education, exercise science or related fields who want meaningful, hands-on experience and a long-term role.
