Career Exploration: Finding Your Fit
**Virtual Event**
Being a graduate student is an exciting opportunity to further hone your professional background and skills, transition to an entirely different career field, or position yourself for the next steps in your current organization. Entering your next professional experience requires self-awareness, career exploration, and knowing how to make productive decisions. You are invited to this interactive workshop that will give you ideas, strategies, and resources to support your career exploration—whether you’re just starting out, reconsidering your options, or ready to move forward with clarity. As part of the session led by Join former Block Career Center Associate Director of Career Services, Samantha Mcgurgan, you’ll participate in an Impact Mapping activity to reflect on how you want to contribute through your work and what environments align with your goals and values.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Reflect on the work context that aligns with your personal/professional goals using the Impact Mapping framework.
- Identify strategies and tools for exploring careers that align with their desired impact and academic background.
- Develop personalized next steps for navigating career decisions with greater clarity and purpose.
